Disinherited?  British Columbia is relatively unique in having a Wills Variation Act.  Children and spouses of a deceased may apply to vary a Will if treated unfairly by the deceased parent or spouse.  You have a 6 month limitation to apply to the Court from the date of grant of probate of the Will.  After that time your right of action will be barred.  You are advised to seek legal advice early if you are affected.
